to perform selected shows and festival dates across the UK"
The original Hull-based tribute to the cities most famous musical exports were formed 7 years ago and, up until their final gig in November 2007, played some amazing gigs and festivals throughout the UK, including appearances at Liverpools' legendary Mathew Street Festival and Cavern Club. Hull's KC Stadium (in front of 20,000 people) and Gemtec Arena for Hull City's Player of the Year awards. Gigs at top venues such as The Robin 2 (Bilston), The Springhead (Hull) and The Sands (Gainsborough) as well as support slots for bands including Deacon Blue, The Commitments and Go West.

Although The Beautiful Couch were reborn with all
new band members for a period of time in 2008, that line up
only lasted just over a year and on hearing about the split, the original Couch members
expressed an interest in " Carrying on
Regardless" once again!

Faulkner (manager and front man) says: "It has been difficult to allocate
time to The Couch over the past couple of years
due to the commitment involved in getting Tribfest
(Europe's Biggest Tribute Band
Festival) established. However, we have earmarked some practice time
within the coming months and are looking at September / October 2009 to get back on the road"
